Armstrong’s Bid to Support Local Charity

A team of runners from Armstrong Communications is taking part in a 10K event, raising money for a local charity. Eight members of staff will be running in the event in September, fundraising for the specialist children’s cancer charity in Salford. Joining them in their fundraising venture is Alex Linnen of Blue Solutions and Geoff Airey of Lowri Beck Systems.

Armstrong Communications has supported KidsCan in the past, and chose again to support their valuable work researching alternative medicines and treatments specifically designed for childhood cancer.

Staff from all departments are taking part – Graham Harrison, Ian Nuttall, Matt Jones and Helen Wright from the Sales department; Laura Donovan, Luke Pawsey and Tremayne Hatton from Engineering; with Managing Director Sally Stothard at the helm. With three months to go until the event, there is plenty of time for the more seasoned runners to bring the enthusiastic amateurs up to speed, and plenty of time for fundraising!
